Adjustment of screen temperature/brightness with keyboard

In this comment, I read that each plasmoid can have only one global keyboard shortcut. I'm wondering if it has changed in Plasma so that more than one could be assigned, so that the screen temperature or brightness could also be adjusted using the keyboard.

I think this did not change yet. But now I have an idea how to make that work anyway - to use a C++ extension where one can create global shortcuts. Technically it should work but I have to test it first. Of course this would only be supported in non-kde-store versions of this widget.
