Background for my games list on library is always the same gray

That colour doesn't seem to change, the other colours do when changing themes.

while we wait for this to (hopefully) be fixed, you can navigate to the installed skin folder (~/.local/share/Steam/skins/Metro 4.3.1 Wal_Mod) and edit the "colors.styles" file. line 146 is the one you want, you just pick an RGB color.

I had colour when I first installed but it became grey a few minutes later. Changing the value that FortreeForums mentioned from 255 to something much lower fixed it for me.
