Improve hints about spacing for alignment in documentation

The examples in lhs2TeX guide should selectively use ‘explicit spaces’ to illustrate the use of spacing for alignment purposes.

I anticipate we will need to use a special character to mark where we want explicit spaces, as opposed to regular whitespace.
