FR: Hide "empty" directories from view

Open nekoknot opened this issue 3 years ago • 8 comments

I organize my ebooks by having a directory for each series. This is fine until I remove the ebooks from my device and it leaves the directory with the sdr stuff inside.

I don't mind the directory being left there, but it'd be nice to have a setting to hide directories that are "empty", either truly empty or just appear empty due to having hidden files inside.

I'm using v2022.07

Hi. Please take in consideration to remove the entire dir yourself (inside KO or any other way). That's the best solution for the time being.

IIRC if the book is deleted from KOReader’s File Manager, its respective sdr folder is also deleted

I generally remove the books via Calibre, which leaves the folder. Regardless, not a pressing issue, just thought it'd be nice :)

i also think this would be a good feature, because on Tolino devices (at least in Vision5) everytime the Tolino App is opened and the Preinstalled folder is missing, it gets re-created, and the Tolino app may start automatically sometimes on USB connect (which i use for adb or calibre book transfer)
