Issue description

When trying to translate the selected text or copy it in a PDF file, the program crashes.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open PDF file attached
2. Go to page 20
3. Highlight the first paragraph
4. Press "translate" or "copy"
5. See error

Cannot reproduce on Kindle. The log doesn't help unfortunately. Does it crash on choosing other actions in the highlight dialog? Do you have any user patches installed?
