The paragraph that contains hyperlinked text is displayed, interrupting the current paragraph
- KOReader version: 2024.11
- Device: Kobo Clara Color
Issue
Steps to reproduce
-
Open the book
-
Go to the introduction
-
Scroll until you reach the first link "prone to collect too few observations"
-
The "Notes" paragraph is displayed beneath and all afterwards.
After all the "Notes" paragraph is displayed, it goes back to the introduction.
How can I send you the book?
That's a footnote (or perhaps rather, an endnote displayed as a footnote). You can disable them in style tweaks → in-page footnotes.
You can also try switching to the 'In-page classic classname footnotes' in the same style tweaks menu.
If that doesn't work either, you can post a scrambled epub here (change extension to something that will post).
Use this Calibre plugin to scramble the book.
Probaly similar publisher crappy job as seen in https://github.com/koreader/koreader/issues/11874#issuecomment-2125882656, https://github.com/koreader/koreader/issues/12625#issuecomment-2408471156 (No need for a copy of the book if it's that.)
Disable our In-page footnote styletweaks as suggested, and if you really want to see these footnote in-page, add a tailor-made one in book style tweak as proposed in the first link above.
