Best method for changing the presentation viewing portal?

What would you recommend for increasing the size of the viewing portal? Creating some new template? Adjusting the default template? Overall Tiddlywiki Theme Tweeks (that doesn't see right)? As in, when viewing a presentation in full screen mode, the presentation area isn't very wide compared to the browser window.

Hi @angrystatic The best way is to create a new template! Duplicate a current template and hack as you like! You can then share it if you like!

As a neophyte this is daunting. For example, if I'm looking to modify the "vanilla" template as used by Tamasha, I'm not even sure I'm looking at the correct tiddler. The use and creation of templates within TiddlyWiki overall is not well documented for the uninitiated.

I also don't even know the name of the variable I'm looking for that needs to be modified within the template that I plan to build. If I at least get that, I should be able to get rolling. Unused Space

  • I recommend to use the latest version What you are asking is the layout! You can see layouts and hack them! For example see https://kookma.github.io/TW-Tamasha/#%24%3A%2Fplugins%2Fkookma%2Ftamasha%2Fstyles%2Flayout%2Fcontent

and look for max-width!

Read documentation! themes control colors, fonts, ... Layouts control arrangements, sizes, ...
