"Process New Entries" leaves a duplicate Tiddler

Open FriendlyGremlin opened this issue 11 months ago • 3 comments

Importing bibtex entries seems to work fine and creates tiddlers with titlecase (see screenshot 1 below).

However, after pressing "Process New Entries", in addition to a new tiddler in all lowercase being created, the old tiddler in titlecase remains as a "ghost" with most of its fields stripped, except for "bibtex-doi" (see screenshot 3).

For reference, these are the installed plugins:

  • commandpalette
  • Auto Complete
  • BibTex
  • CodeMirror
  • CodeMirror Show Trailing Space
  • External Attachments
  • Highlight
  • KaTeX
  • Quick View
  • Refnotes
  • Relink
  • Shiraz
  • Tiddler Commander All on latest version as of this writing. Refnotes = 1.9.0

Update: I found out that the problem stems from there being a "DOI" field in the exported .bib file and therefore a corresponding bibtex-doi field in the tiddler. Suppressing the export of the DOI field through the better-bibtex plugin in Zotero is a viable workaround until a more permanent fix is available.

Can you test this on plugin demo? Are tiddlers are open when you click "Process New Entries"?

Hi @kookma - I just tried it, it doesn't matter whether the tiddlers are open or not. The only thing that seems to matter is whether they have this DOI field that I mentioned earlier.
