Text pasted from the clipboard loses its formatting.

Details

In cases such as copying and pasting paragraphs and blocks of code, the formatting is lost and all the text becomes a single line.

• The ability to be able to handle copying and pasting of both formatted and unformatted text is required.

This was observed in the Linux distro operating system, it is unknown if it is applicable to Windows, Mac, etc.
