Windows 11

Koodo Reader 版本

1.6.0

I am having the same problem with Google Drive, though between MacOS and Windows. I noticed that the path in books.json is the absolute path of the local file at import and not a path for Google Drive. e.g. For a book that was imported on MacOS, the path in books.json is "/Users/UserName/Desktop/BookName.pdf". After syncing on Windows, the book appears in the list but get the error "Book not exist" when I open the book.

Please make sure import books as link is turned off in the setting. Also check if there is a is file titled the book key in the books folder. Something like this: image

Import books as link is turned off. The file had a extension ".pdf". Removing the extension resolves the issue. Thank you :)

This is what I noticed: The file was initially stored without extension on my MacOS, but when I checked the file on Windows, it had "pdf" extension. The same happened when I imported in Windows and the file on MacOS had a pdf extension. Manually removing the extension resolved the issue for me. I will manually remove any extensions until the issue is identified and fixed. The extension is likely put by Google Drive itself. Quick fix would be to check if the books folder has extensions and if yes, to remove them.
