how to fix the non-displaying fontsampler preview when "Rewrite the loaded webfont file paths." activated

I am really frustrated to find fault where? when I activate "Rewrite the loaded webfont file paths." fontsampler preview not visible. image image

and when I deactivate it, the fontsampler preview will be seen. however the font file path will be visible when inspected and can be downloaded easily image image image

Not sure but I reckon this could be a side effect of the 127.0.0.1 host and the way Fontsampler / Javascript loads the font files from there.

Can you post me the font path that gets rewritten when the feature is activated, e.g. snoop it from the source code?
