Where to add new tasks in redis is it a list by the name 'CELERYBEAT_SCHEDULE' ? I added tasks to a list by the name CELERYBEAT_SCHEDULE but i dont see anything on the workers .

Which version are you using? I believe this was fixed with #17.

@rhockenbury : This is working for me now. Btw one quick question do you know what are the ways of deleting a task . Are we just supposed to directly delete the key from redis ? Because I see that the task is getting added back into the redis broker if I am not restarting the CeleryBeat Scheduler after deleting from redis. Any idea ?
