Display `/version` information somewhere in UI

Requesting version and maybe revision (or a shortened revision) from /version to be displayed somewhere in the web UI. Possibly on the /admin/settings page, or in the footer.

Hi @n8felton thanks for the suggestion. Could you explain why it's useful to have it in the UI? Do you find yourself looking often to see if your version is the latest one? Would some kind of "up to date" button be better like in the screenshot linked above, be better?

It's just nice to know from a not-the-app-admin perspective. sort of like publicly shaming your co-workers into keeping apps up-to-date.

If I'm not the admin of the app I like to know specifically what version the app is on so I can look at the change log and make up some reason why we really need feature X in order to get them to update.

@cwhits Would you be ok if Fleet checked into Kolide's servers to see if updates were needed and if the update was urgent or not (ex: it contains a critical security fix)?

I'd have no problem with that. Maybe a "check for updates" box in settings for people that might take issue with it?

That'd have been cool for people who might not follow along in Slack to have had an alert for the RC5 updates.
