Were you able to save the image with the effects applied to the photo?

If I remember correctly - there is a save-to-gallery feature but it does not save any of the overlayed "effects". This repo is no longer maintained and I will probably archive it soon.

I'm also really facing this problem in a project ... I'm not able to save the effects
