Chrome extension?

This is a great tool! I came here when my notebooks weren't rendering on github, but this is so much quicker! I wonder if this could be turned into a chrome extension? Is anyone doing this?

Chrome extension in a what way? As a separate application or for the times when you're on Github and your notebook is not loading? For the latter case, you can save a bookmarklet (see the README) - you can then click it when you're on Github and it will redirect you to this viewer with that notebook there.

I am more interested in using nbviewer.js locally. I think the way it works now is fine for github. I think I understood that this is how you use it. What I would like is a tool that can be incorporated in my desktop somehow. This could be a local app or an extension for Chrome or perhaps an extension for Nemo (the file browser of the linux mint I use). Something along the lines of what was made for MacOS?

It would probably not be too hard to make this, I just do not have any experience with javascript.
