For those that are interested I have started a Go (golang) port here: https://github.com/jlubawy/go-boilerpipe

So far it fully supports the ArticleExtractor, and matches (if not better) the output from the Java library (see extractor_test.go).

It is also under the Apache 2 license, same as the original library.

He got his Ph.D. and has most likely moved on. Maybe use this instead https://newspaper.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ But it's python.
