Sessions

Goal: Support the management of sessions in HotCRP.

Subgoals:

• Order sessions.
• Assign papers to sessions.
• Order papers within sessions.
• Associate a name with each session.
• Associate a chair (email?) with each session.
• Associate other metadata with each session.

Option 1: A single session tag. The integer part of the index represents the session number. The decimal part of the index represents the order within the session.

Option 2: Multiple session tags.

Option 3: A separate mechanism, such as separate “session” database components.
