Change email form appears not to be working
I'm trying to change my email (change of employer).
I'm doing the change via my account profile as reached from the EuroSys 2023 PC page.
- After editing the new email address and saving, I get a message saying a confirmation email has been sent to the new address. All good.
- I receive the email and click on the link.
- My first problem (am I being dumb?) is that I don't understand the last field:
Password for <new address>. I inferred that this was asking for the password I'm already using (with my old address). The only other thing I could think of is that it was asking me to chose a new password. Perhaps I'm being dumb, but maybe that field should say something likePassword used for <old address>? - I then click
Change email. - My second problem is that nothing seems to happen (regardless of which way I interpret 3; I tried both). My email hasn't been changed, and it's not clear whether I need to take further action.
I feel like I'm doing something wrong, but I can't see it.
I'm using Chrome 101 on MacOS 12.4
