Color coding a DNA sequence with some errors

Hi, I am trying to use dnacol to color code the DNA sequence. However, if the sequence contains a character other than A,C, G,T, or N then the line is not colored. Can you please let me know if there'a a way to force coloring despite the presence of other letters in the sequence which come up from parsing text from image. Thanks Shar
