Limelight not highlighting Kitty Window

I have been using limelight with skid and yabai and I really love it. I recently 'upgraded' from stock macOS terminal to kitty. I noticed that limelight does not show borders around kitty window when the window is focused. I was wondering if this is something others have faced or is a known issue?
