glyph rendering problem

image It seems that some glyphs didn't render well. The font file I used is simsun.ttc

Hi, seems churlish to moan about this excellent code, but I also had odd artifacts in certain fonts but not others. I can post screenies when I'm back home if you want. One thing I recall was that one of the artifacts seemed to be located in the top right quadrant of the glyph only and was screen space not world.

I wouldn't call my 7 year old code excellent. I'm working on other things nowdays, if someone could fix this, that would be nice.
