Exposure slider would be nice addition

With images that have poor contrast/dynamic range when converted from color to monochrome, it would be nice to have an exposure slider to brighten the image while we also adjust the contrast.

As with all things, a good input helps. But with some images, there just isn't much monochrome contrast to be had.
