OneDrive vs Service Station : OneDrive blocking other extensions ?

Open EddyRezumi opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

Hello,

I installed Service Station on my Mac (macOS Monterey) and it works great, except for the files in my OneDrive folders. It seems, according to this post, that Microsoft is blocking other extensions. In my case anyway, I don't have the contextual items I set in Service Station for the files in my OneDrive folders.

Does anyone else could confirm this ? Or is it just my setup that is not working properly ?

And if this is confirmed, is there any workaround ?

Thanks for your help Capture d’écran 2022-08-11 à 09 58 12 .

Was a solution ever identified for this? My documents are in OneDrive and Service Station doesn't get activated for any of them.

My understanding is that this a restriction on all cloud products which use the Apple File Provider Framework - iCloud, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc. So a solution will have to come from Apple - and that seems unlikely. Also, this issue is not just for Service Station. I more often use Context Menu and this suffers from the same restriction.
