Wiring Viewer

A plugin to visualize connectivities between sets of tracings. The plugin renders an interactive wiring matrix. Clicking on the column / row labels representing the tracing names fetches a skeleton from a server (or loads it from local storage, if it has been pre-fetched or cached) and displays it in Knossos. Displaying many skeletons that make up the wiring matrix is possible by Strg- / Shift-Selecting many names. Clicking on individual entries in the wiring matrix brings up a list of synaptic locations for that connection if there are more than one or jumps right to that synaptic location. The synaptic location is visualized by a skeleton fetched from the server, which consists of a postsynapse node, a presynapse node and an optional active zone tracings. Future versions of the plugin would also support volume data.
