This feature is super crucial.. seems we cannot set a VALUE otherwise (e.g. for update scenarios)? PLEASE.. can you folks review /re-merge it? :-)

Yes.. If not, how do I get these changes into my homeassistant? Just copy / paste? How did you folks do that.
