I just don't need a call log, so i added an option to disable it.

Hi @Snikimonkd ! Thanks a lot for your contributions and initiative 😄 I don't think I would like to add this as a toggle option into the plugin, mainly because the call log serves as of now two purposes:

  1. overview of on-going queries. You can execute N amount of queries and see these in the query log (executing) and being able to cancel them if you would like (press ctrl-c on hovered query).
  2. archived results, to go back in time and see what the result is etc (trivial).

Based on this, I think it make sense to not make it optional to remove - especially for point 1. We can look into adding option to toggle the entire sidebar if you would want to pursuit that 😄

I'll therefore close this PR if you agree with this outcome?

@MattiasMTS lol, it was 7 month ago :)

I've become a terminal adept and switched to psql full time.

Gotcha! Thanks for closing. Hopefully we can bring you back to nvim-dbee at one point 😉

PSQL because of its simplicity and portability?
