Any progress in Opentelemetry support?

Hi,
As i understand, Knative support "Opencensus" so that satisfiy Opentelemetry-compatitive. but when i test it, i faced exactly same issue with below, but looks like there is no progress on this matter.
Will it be any updates upon this topic? or any progress?

I re-opened the issue and I think we could fix that. cc @dprotaso @dsimansk thoughts?
This issue is stale because it has been open for 90 days with no
activity. It will automatically close after 30 more days of
inactivity. Reopen the issue with /reopen. Mark the issue as
fresh by adding the comment /remove-lifecycle stale.

OpenCensus => OTel Migration PR have started to landed - there's one outstanding.
