Placeholder issue to update docs to make operator the recommended install path

The goal of the operator is to provide simple installation and customization for knative-serving. After the first release of the operator, the operator wg should create some alpha docs for how to use the operator to install the operator and knative-serving. When the operator is released and meets initial requirements across supported platforms, the documentation should switch to using the operator by default.

Also, we should engage with the productivity WG's test-infra-2.0 efforts to use the operator for installing serving during e2e tests.
