Move Knative meetup from Google to Knative Community

Open csantanapr opened this issue 2 years ago • 9 comments

Currently, the Google Open Source Software office staff helps schedule, book presenters, and run the meetup on a monthly basis. Google wants to transition this to be handle now by the Knative community under the CNCF

We have a new zoom account we can share the account username/password with Greg when he is ready to run the first meetup

@macruzbar As part of this issue can we transfer the youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/c/KnativeProject from Google to Knative Community?

Don't know if this is just a matter of adding a few folks from SC and TOC as admins of the channel.

@gtewallace I see you are running the Meetups now What are the next steps for this issue?

I think writing a doc in community repo on how someone would be able to help run the meetups, for example, if you can't run it one month, what are the things this new person needs to do to run them.

Apologies, just seeing my comments on Buganizer are not reflected here. The Knative Meetup is now fully transitioned to Triggermesh.

@csantanapr this can probably be closed now as complete, can't it?
