Cant build site: "no data found to publish site"

Can't seem to build site in any way, just receive "no data found to publish site". I feel like I'm doing something stupid and the fix is easy but for the life of me I can't figure it out.

Additionally: receive "Failed to load SSL library: <class 'OSError'> (no library called "ssl" found)" upon every sync. Will continue and successfully sync but the connection seems slow as hell.
