Exclude lists from campaign

Open ImaCrea opened this issue 1 month ago • 2 comments

Many times, some subscribers can be linked to multiple lists.

What if I'm going to send different campaigns to these lists and I don't want these people to receive all my different version of my campaign? How to avoid duplicate?

A solution would be to let user excludes some lists when setting a campaign.

It could be shown as another input in campaign settings, here's an example :

That way, I could set to send to subscribers in list A and exclude list B. Therefore I'd be sure that it would be sent only to users who are in list A and not on list B. People who are in list A and B wouldn't be included in that campaign.

Multiple lists on a campaign don't result in duplicate emails for overlapping subscribers. Subscribers are picked uniquely across all lists on a campaign.

Yes sure, I imagine that @knadh but it's not what I'm talking about ^^

To make it clearer : Let's say Gin is in list A and list B.

I'm going to send two campaigns with different version of my content. These two campaign are slighty the same except some wording differs in order to better suit the context of these two lists.

So one campaign aimed exclusively at list A (campaign A) and the other one exclusively at list B (campaign B).

Then, I want Gin to receive the campaign A only, how do I do that? How do I make sure Gin doesn't also receive campaign B?

Thanks :)

I would also very much like this feature. My use case is that I can create a list of people who have downloaded a particular product. I also have a list of subscribers. I want to mail the people who have downloaded but are not subscribers. That would be easily handled if lists excluded were a feature.
