Request: Make SpotMenu work with Spotube

SpotMenu is great! I love it! However, I've switched from Spotify to the FOSS alternative Spotube. It's a great change for me, but I miss SpotMenu! I wish there was a way to make SpotMenu work with Spotube. Is this possible?
