SpotMenu popout vertically too high when computer menu bar is set to show-hide

Open cogell opened this issue 5 years ago • 3 comments

Description

When the computer is set to Automatically hide and show the menu bar in (System Preferences -> General) clicking on SpotMenu does not reveal the usual popout/modal.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. In System Preferences > General set computer to Automatically hide and show the menu bar
  2. Fire up SpotMenu
  3. Fire up Spotify
  4. Play any song in Spotify
  5. Reveal Mac menu bar and click on SpotMenu

Expected behavior: SpotMenu reveals usual popout/modal of album art, details, and track controls

Actual behavior: SpotMenu modal is only seen once mouse away allowing the menu bar to hide. It looks like the top position of the modal is firing offscreen/too high with show-hide menu bar setting

Reproduces how often: 100%
