Hi!

  • Are you streaming the music from Apple Music or is it a local file in iTunes?
  • Can you see the album art in iTunes?
  • Does it behave the same for every track?

Hey! In response:

  • Streaming Apple Music
  • Yep, can see the album art in iTunes!
  • Yup, every track

Hmm, it’s most likely an issue with Apple Music. Unfortunately, I don’t have a subscription, I’ll see what I can do tomorrow

Hello,

this might not be of much help, but I am having the same issue with AppleMusic and AppleMusic only. macOS 10.13.6, streaming in Apple Music. Works fine when playing local file, as well as with Spotify.

Not sure if anyone else figured this out, but FWIW, I figured out that playing an album/playlist from your Apple Music library shows the album art; however, playing it from the Apple Music Browse/For You menus doesn't show the album art.
