@natoscott @wcohen There is already a hook for per-test valgrind suppressions it is $grind_extra. It is already used in several tests, see for example qa/1316.
The json PMDA has been retired and replaced by the opentelementry PMDA, as of PCP 7.0. So this is now a non-issue.
