piardopc dependencies not installed on 64bit?

On two different reported occasions, the dependencies have failed to install correctly for the piardopc modem on a 64bit build. Manually installing the dependencies resolves the issue. See this post as one example. Need to double check and see if I can figure out why the dependencies are not being installed.

The error reported when this occurs is:
