Possible to use a circle needle with rounded corners

Hi. I've been able to set up the gauge chart successfully. I'm working to modify it so that instead of the arrow needle below the chart, I want to display a circle on the current value. I've also wanted to apply rounded corners to the different regions. I know that I can use the border values to customize the space between regions, but didn't know if this was possible.
