The app is not open source, currently 😃

The app doesn't support Hackintosh officially, moreover Sonoma seems to be the last to support x86_64 CPUs.

Possibly fixed because the app now skips Thunderbolt connected devices

@perfaram @robske110 did you try [this tool](https://www.crystalidea.com/macs-fan-control) on this macbook? (it's free, but one can buy=donate)

Please modify fan control first (Custom) then you'll be able to save a new preset.
