Is there a way to customize the gem to use font awesome instead of glyphicons?

I second this .. I too would prefer font awesome of glyphicons

Sorry for the late response. This is a great idea!

The issue is that I'm not using this gem any longer for new projects since I prefer using Angular for frontend development nowadays. I intend to keep this gem synced with the official X-editable since there are still projects where I use it.

If anyone has the interest and time to do a PR then I would happily merge it!
