Flowchart: Quickly Snap (graphically) to located/found passage

Open eyevenear opened this issue 3 years ago • 1 comments

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

When a project is very big it starts to be a bit of a process going back and forth between passages that are very far apart from each other.

Describe the solution you'd like.

A Rapid menu in the program's toolbar that would allow placing "position markers" in specific passages or even next to them, these markers then appear in a list and when double clicked, the view snaps immediately to the selected marker in the flowchart's canvas. the "Focus-To" could also be integrated in the already existing "Search and Replace" that searches in the entire project.

Describe alternatives you've considered.

Right now there is no way to do this, if not by manually dragging back and forth with the mouse. Again, if the passages are far apart, it's quite of a process, even with extreme zoom-out.

Additional context on this suggestion.

Speeding up Flowchart's navigation in large projects.

A feature that gets at this is schedule for the next release of Twine, which would allow jumping to a passage by name or text it contains. But it's not quite what is being asked for here.
