neovim automation seems somewhat flaky

In neovim the edits seem to peg my CPU at 100

Hardcoded to vim and it seems to be working right now.

I have switched from neovim to vim a year ago. I will check it out.

I would not really stress about it, anyone on neovim is super duper likely to have vim anyway, I would just recommend ripping out the neovim implementation.

I will update the use of neovim, only if Vim is missing.

I will check the update, it seems like a nice touch :-).
