Why should an _optional_ dependency matter ?

imho, an optional dependency should be similar to a [zypper recommends](https://en.opensuse.org/Libzypp/Dependencies#Weak_dependencies) which "are silently dropped if no match is possible."

Upstream issue got marked as `stale` 2 days ago, will be auto-closed in 28 days.

I always wonder why every project (like [kucero](https://github.com/SUSE/kucero) for CaaSP) has to re-implement certificate handling. This should be built into Kubernetes.

@khenriks - can you give #206 a try and comment on the results there ?
