Keeping track of dated events
There are a number of things that need to happen in the future at a certain date or period. For instance, end of contracts, expiration of certificates, decommissioning of resources, etc. Tickets have no date so it's not enough.
Until now, we've been mostly relying on assigning those things to one person and she's in charge of tracking it (via an event in one's calendar I guess). We've also created workflows to be triggered at specific times, but it's very cumbersome to create. Another idea is to add it to the monthly routine check but it's extra work every month and that only applies to technical stuff.
We thus need a tool where one can set a date and we get reminded later. That sounds like a Calendar? Sure but we have no shared Calendar ATM. Should we create one? Is there a better tool for this job? @Popolechien are you using something already?

Currently using my own calendar. There already is a Google account for [email protected] that we use as drive for daily operations with @siemsie, I think it is possible to open its calendar to all team members so that we set reminders and/or deadlines.
We also use Asana, which works kind of like the present git repo except that we can set due dates on it (incl. recurring ones). Both have their pro/cons. Asana would probably be better in this regard I guess, and it does not seem limited in how many team members can use it.

I don't get that part. Gandi does not provide "cloud drives"!

Not sure if this is a statement or question but either way we have a Google grant that gives us unlimited access to their office suite and that works well.

I don't feel like a shared calendar would really fit the need, because it's notification system is meant for instant event, not for keeping track of a task which needs to be solved by a group of persons. It would be to easy that no-ones take care of a notification, and it gets lost. I would rather prefer something more permanent, with regular reminders until it get "closed".

I dont see how I fit into this. ops dont use nor rely on Google. Content team and Admin does AFAIK.

This sounds more like a task manager. On Github, AFAIK the only concept which is time dependent is the milestone. Maybe a milestone can be created pro month and issues put in them.
