Headline feature: New experimental preview of article links in popovers by hovering your mouse over them (see screenshot). You can also (on touchscreens) long-press a link to see the popover. With the keyboard, you can tab into a link for the popover to show. Feature can be disabled in Config -> Caching and preview settings.

Additionally, there are now separate packages for Windows 7/8/8.1 (32bit) and Windows 10/11, since the latest Electron version no longer supports older Windows.

WikiMed by Kiwix v3.2.6 contains the May 2024 WikiMed by Kiwix package mdwiki_en_all[-app]_maxi_2024-05.zim, together with the changes in the CHANGELOG.

The 64bit Electron app versions use Electron v29.3.1 (supporting modern Windows and Linux, including ARM), while the Windows 7 32bit versions use v22.3.25, (supporting Win 7/8/8.1). The Linux 32bit AppImage is based on Electron v18.3.15. The Linux packages have been tested on Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora and OpenSUSE.

For the Linux on ARM package, simply use the ARM64 AppImage portable file. For Windows on ARM, use the Web installer, and it should detect and download the correct package for your architecture.
