Can't grant storage permission on Android 13

The app shows a dialog saying it needs access to storage to store books, but pressing the confirm button just brings up the app details activity in the Settings app, where there is no storage permission to grant.

I just encountered this bug. I'm on Android 13 (GrapheneOS) on a Google Pixel 4a, using F-Droid's latest Kiwix version (3.6.0)

I've tried the latest nightly and I can confirm that this issue is fixed. Thanks a lot!

It would be great, if you could release a new beta or stable, since the nightlies with integrated debugging tools are obviously not for normal use.
