Is it possible to connect to a remote epc server?

Hi, I wonder if the epc client can connect to the remote server by ip and port?

I have some remote service those can't start locally.

I second that, since I have a similar use case.

What I have is an emacs instance running in a virtual box, which I want to connect to an server on the host system. So there should be means to start a server, giving it IP and port to accept connections and the clinet to use IP and port to connect to the server.
