Very long multi-day events not shown in intermediate months

I have an event which starts in August and ends in October. In the month view this event shows up properly when the month is August and October but is completely hidden when the month is September. Similar behavior in other views.

I am using an org calendar. Starting day of the week is set to Monday.

Sample Event: ** test long event <2018-08-30 Thu>--<2018-10-01 Mon>

Behavior: Month view August 2018: 'test long event' appears on Aug 30th, 31st, Sep 1st, 2nd (last day displayed on the screen, a Sunday) Month view September 2018: No event shown on any date on the screen (Aug 27th through Sep 30th) Month view October 2018: 'test long event' appears on Oct 1st

Confirmed and also interested in this improvement. (My case are 6-week school holiday starting in July and ending in September)
