Filechooser Infinite Loop Opening/Can't Close After Switching Windows On MacOS

On my Macbook Pro (Catalina 10.15.4), when 4 finger swiping to an adjacent window after the filechooser had been opened at one point, the filechooser opens again and will not close after clicking 'cancel'. It turns blank and waits until you click the app window, then populates with paths again.

On Python 3.10
