Mastodon account for this project
Would a Mastodon account for this project be possible?
Mastodon, like the band?

No, Mastodon - the free and open source alternative to the social media service Twitter (https://joinmastodon.org)
What would the point be, what problem does that solve?

It would make the project better known than through "only" contributions from IT editors, like gnulinux.ch
Ah, I see. I'm not against it - as long as I don't have to do much. :D
Seriously though, is there a simple "connection" between Github and Mastodon? Are you looking for release notifications or something more granular?

Specifically, my idea would be to break it down into three points:
- Sharing project information in general
- Sharing project announcements
- Interaction with the Fediverse community (example could be polls on considered features from the engine room)
I don't know if there is already a project that could make this easier with project releases, but I'm sure it would be easy to realise.
Thanks for this input. TBH, I'd not really thought this lil pet project worthy of such attention. I've got a brewing TODO list of stuffs I need to take care of (e.g. better testability of the config, config file as a CLI parm, etc.). Will def add to it the need for better "notification" support. I'd not even known about Mastodon, but am intrigue by it, and the ability to wire it up from a Github Action to post announcements and such. Thanks again.
Primed, so next release the notif will go to: https://mastodon.social/web/@clikan
