Make Valine work with Mathjax

TeXt theme support using Valine as its comment system, and Valine supports rendering math formulas with MathJax (link). However, MathJax is not enabled when using Valine with TeXt theme, even if I explicitly enable MathJax in the config of TeXt (_config.yml). So is there a way to make it work?
